Each year during Easter and Thanksgiving we distribute food baskets to our needy families. This has become one of the highlights of our program, and we have enjoyed working with nearly 150 volunteers coming together to show the love of God. Our next project will be a Thanksgiving 2022 distribution. We will be assembling and delivering food baskets for seniors and the poor in our neighborhood. Special thanks to The Good Eggs Foundation and Scheers Ace Hardware for their support of the Brightmoor community. Through the hearts of both Bryan of Ace Hardware and Sandy of The Good Eggs Foundation, Mission:City was the recipient of the Round-Up program and was officially “Egged”. Through the generosity of others shopping at Ace Hardware within a 3-month time frame they collected 15,028 local donations totaling $7198.47.
